It’s nice to see my logo design for Ransaked Records (their spelling!) still being used, as they go from strength to strength…
I was remembering how I created their logo… Once I had decided on a lettering style and created a solid version, I set about smashing it up in different ways to find out which would look the best. Here is ten different versions. Version 3 was finally chosen – It had the most impact due to the centred point of breakage and looked the most like sharp broken glass from a ransacking – but was also legible at a small size. Would you have chosen version 3?
